Hum… interesting question. Well… I’ll start by stating the obvious in terms of my position within the firm, which is that I’m the Founder and Managing Member of LRM & Associates LLC, a labor consulting firm. As for my persona, I’m a passionate individual with strong convictions about how people should be treated in the workplace and in life, really. I think folks should be treated with dignity and respect, which is what I strive to do every day. I’m a lover of humanity and have strong spiritual beliefs that dictate how I live my life, how I operate and treat others. Folks who “know” me – and there aren’t many who do – would say I’m a “Mamma Bear.” I’m perplexed by people who take advantage of and mistreat others, and do so because they “think” they can. That’s confusing to me. I created LRM & Associates, LLC to foster needed Government reforms in employee and labor relations. My bio, available via LRM’s ‘Our Team’ page, provides more information on my business acumen in federal sector employee dispute resolution.
The firm provides a range of strategic consulting, advocacy, and support services to a diverse client base, including: (1) Federal sector employees (Complainants, Grievants, and Plaintiffs) seeking guidance, case development, and representation in matters involving discrimination, retaliation, reasonable accommodation, and other workplace disputes; (2) Employment law firms seeking strategic litigation support, including case development, document preparation, evidentiary organization, and assistance with administrative and federal-sector employment matters; (3) Federal government agencies and management officials in need of training, technical assistance, and independent support in conducting hostile work environment inquiries, climate assessments, and compliance with federal employment laws and anti-discrimination obligations; (4) Federal sector unions seeking subject matter expertise, training, and strategic support in navigating the federal adjudication process, employee advocacy, and labor-management relations; (5) Lawmakers and policymakers requiring advisory services and subject matter expertise on federal workforce policy, accountability, and legislative initiatives affecting government operations; and (6) Members of the general public seeking information, resources, and insight related to federal employment practices, government accountability, and workplace equity.
Details regarding specific services and resources are available on our Home page.

Because I’ve been there… as a Grievant exercising her employment rights through a Union’s Collective Bargaining Agreement with a federal agency; as a Complainant in a protected class seeking redress for claims of discrimination through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; and as a Plaintiff filing suit in federal court seeking relief under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for outstanding or unresolved claims of discrimination. I’ve exercised my rights in these various adjudication forums… multiple times… and prevailed – whether finding of discrimination, settlement or desired outcome, e.g., enforcement – on each occasion, but not before learning some hard lessons along the way. And because of this, I know and understand the impact employment disputes and a protracted litigation action against the largest employer in the United States can have on one’s mental, emotional and financial health. A federal government employee has nowhere near the financial resources and human capital available to him or her that the Government has to fight that fight.
For a federal government employee, the struggle is real because he or she doesn’t have those kinds of resources, and it’s personal to that aggrieved individual – it’s life altering – and my firm seeks to level the playing field, to the extent it can, by offering client services and information at a reduced fee or at no cost, while working with lawmakers to change the rules of engagement in the public’s interest. I established LRM & Associates, LLC, in part, to give individuals who find themselves in challenging situations, as I was, a fighting chance of seeing justice prevail on their behalf, just as I did… and many times. Shout out to Jason Weisbrot, Esq. with Snider & Associates, LLC who hung in there with me all those years in my time of need. It’s time for me to return the favor and do that for someone else.
Also, having myself held several management/supervisory positions within Government, and in discussing with colleagues and other managers/supervisors across Government, I know that many managers/supervisors have a strong desire to do the right thing and foster a healthy workplace for their employees. However, those I’ve spoken to have expressed a need for additional resources and support, including training and technical assistance in establishing and implementing statutorily required, anti-discrimination policies and procedures. LRM & Associates, LLC stands ready to help, and to be an added resource for federal agencies to tap into to assist them in meeting agency objectives and requirements under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Because again, for me, this is all in efforts to improve the culture in Government.
Because to my knowledge, no other company or firm provides the full-service package LRM & Associates, LLC is offering. I started the firm because I wanted to be a part of the solution to a long-standing systemic problem in employee and labor relations. And that solution requires a multi-pronged approach that includes working with and servicing ALL parties and stakeholders to effectuate real, material change. No more could I just sit on the sidelines and allow the injustices I’ve seen and experienced over the years to continue, largely unanswered, without a fight. Discrimination – including retaliation for reporting claims of discrimination – is alive and well, notwithstanding what some might say or think. Members of a protected class – race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, age, and genetic information –identified under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and I am a member of that protected class, need more backing and support options in the process. Given my history and experiences, I am poised to provide that backing and support to those in need of help.
